Manifesto Against Planned Obsolescence

We believe that objects should not have an imposed expiration date. Every product should be born to last, to be repairable, upgradeable, and evolve alongside the person who uses it.

Why does this manifesto exist?

Because planned obsolescence is not a market error—it’s a deliberate strategy. A choice that forces people to repurchase, waste resources, pollute, and sacrifice user creativity in favor of corporate profit.

Durability:

an object designed to endure, not to break

Repairability:

every component can be replaced, every part can be fixed.

Evolution:

our products are not “sealed boxes,” but open platforms. They can be improved, modified, and personalized.

Open Source:

we share knowledge, schematics, and instructions. Because only what is transparent can truly be free.

Community:

we are not alone. There’s a network of people who collaborate, build together, lend a hand, and invent new solutions.

Not Profit, but Value

We are aware that choosing this path means earning less. But our goal is not to maximise profit—our goal is to multiply value. Value for people, for the environment, for those who believe that objects should not be mere tools of consumption, but communities of shared ideas and practices.

Our Promise
